Khyree Jackson has a unique physique for the cornerback position; it's rare to see CBs with such tall and lanky builds. What's intriguing about Khyree is that he's a very fluid athlete given his physique. He has good speed, although in my opinion, he lacks recovery speed. (the ability to catch up to the receiver due to good speed) The main issue with his physique, and what we don't want to see with this type of build, is his lack of power. In many aspects, his lack of power in both the upper and lower body is noticeable, and I'll elaborate on this further.

He has often been placed in Press situations, and given his physique, this is where we want to see him. However, despite his physicality, he gets dominated at the line of scrimmage (LOS). He lacks power in his hands and gets beaten on his jam attempts (both one and two-handed). He also struggles to mirror receivers in this situation, and his transitions are really poor (his long legs don't help), often causing him to lose balance during breaks in and out. These deficiencies make him very grabby, leading to several penalties at Oregon (10% of flags when targeted). In the NFL, facing faster receivers, especially those with better route-running skills, could prove to be very challenging for him. When he isn't trying to be overly aggressive, he occasionally manages to execute his Trail technique.
In zone coverage, I find that he does a better job thanks to his IQ and his ability to recognize receiver routes. When facing the play, he manages to display quickness and does a good job on underneath coverage.

Jackson's ball skills are good, although I've seen him beaten at times when facing the play, which shouldn't happen given his long arms. He has a good ball-tracking ability even when backpedaling, where he occasionally manages to turn around. With his long arms, he has a huge catch radius and elite ability to play the ball at its highest point. When in zone coverage, he can easily break up pass trajectories with a kick and close technique. (it's the ability of a DB or LB to read the action and react aggressively) and a closing speed (The speed at which the defender moves from point A to point B to reduce the distance between himself and the ball carrier) which is very interesting

Khyree struggles greatly to shed blocks despite his physique and long arms; several times he has been driven back for several yards or even pancaked. He has a huge tackling radius and should therefore be a real threat against the opposing running game, especially considering that when placed in blitz situations, I find that he has contributed significantly and created stress.

Khyree Jackson has only had one year of production, but he is an interesting prospect due to his physique and flashes of ability. However, it seems challenging for him to make a smooth transition if he doesn't improve on the line of scrimmage. As a cornerback, I see him better suited for the boundary to limit transitions and changes of direction, especially in a system emphasizing zone coverage. Additionally, I believe he could be very intriguing as a safety. With his size, fluidity, ball skills, and decent speed for complete field coverage, it could be a very enticing option.
I evaluate Khyree Jackson as a fourth-round prospect.
